Save Money! Save Trees! Save Time!

Today’s Topic: Enable double-sided printing/copying and stapling from the comfort of your desk

Who? District employees who print and copy documents

Why? You can save time, money, and trees by printing to copy machines (as opposed to printers) AND copying double-sided whenever possible. In addition, why not have the copier staple those copies for you? We’ll show you how to do this from the comfort of your own desk in mere seconds! (Then, we’re sorry to say, you WILL have to get up from your desk and walk down to the copier to pick up your copies. But that’s just good exercise.)

Where's My Paystub?

Today’s Topic: Accessing Your Paystub and Other Payroll Information Electronically

Who? District employees who get paid—especially those who use direct deposit.

Why? Over the summer, our payroll department instituted a new system that allows employees to access their paystubs and other payroll information electronically. Printed paystubs for employees who use direct deposit will no longer be distributed. If you want your paystub information, you’ll have to access it electronically. NOTE: This demonstration shows how to get access your information at work . . . if you want to access your information from home, you will need to go the district webpage, click the Programs and Services tab, then click on the TSD Staff Resources link. On that page, you will find the link to Skyward Educator Access. After you get to Skyward, simply follow the steps described in this demonstration.
