Today’s Topic: Modifying Word's "Normal" Style Default Settings
Who? Users who don’t like the automatic double spacing between paragraphs in Word OR want to learn how to change their style settings in Word.
Why? Apparently, the folks at Microsoft think it’s “normal” to always be typing a business letter. That’s why every time you hit enter, it double spaces. I personally find this annoying and not “normal” at all. If I want double spacing between paragraphs, I’ll add it myself, thank you very much! If you’re tired of fixing this abnormality each time you create a new document, this is an F1 Tuesday for you!
How? Watch this short screencast:

Note: This demonstration features Windows 7 operating system and Office 2007--different software will yield different results.
